This ended up being a busy day. I didn’t sleep well so woke early and dealt with some work emails.
Us 4 girls had a nails appointment at 10.30. JenY had added Jen and me to the appointment but I don’t think the change was recorded well at the shop so they were full on getting us through pedicures and manicures on top of all their other customers.

We had a very successful time though and we’re all pleased with our results.

Then in the afternoon we needed to get the Tube into the city to go to a bra and swimwear shop before our 5.30 booking at Vagabond wine bar and then the theatre.

Bravissimo was a success as we could collect a new bra for JenY and our Jen found a bikini that she likes.
Vagabond is a wine bar along similar lines to the wine centre in Blenheim. You select your wine and pay for either a tasting, small or large glass. It’s a 20 minute walk from Bravissimo and we were running late so got an uber. We were still 10 minutes late but it didn’t matter as they weren’t busy. We had a rose first and then a Tempranillo for me and a Malbec for Jen. Mike loved the rose and stuck with that. We also ordered the charcuterie and cheese sharing plate which was just enough after a large salad for lunch.

After Vagabond we walked around the block to the Victoria Theatre to see the stage show Hamilton. Craig had got us and Jen tickets for Christmas. They only opened the doors at 7.15 and managed to get everyone seated by 7.45. The queue was pretty daunting when we arrived though.

The show was stunning but not ideal for 3 semi jet lagged people who’d not slept well. I thoroughly enjoyed the music and the story but the rhythmic nature of some of the songs meant each of us had periods where we nodded off.
It’s also a very long show so we did not get home from the Tube until 11.45. Evidently there had been a fox in Pauline’s garden earlier in the night but no wildlife was apparent on our short walk home.
