We had a good sleep but my chest cold is worse during the day. I might visit the nurse if it is still bad tomorrow. We woke to find that we had shared our netted bed with 4 mosquitoes. Note to selves – don’t sit in your room in the evening with the door open. The gardener man is going to spray.
Breakfast was excellent, just like everything else here. The array of fruits is fab and they have this lovely ginger, lime and tamarind juice. The chef’s specialty omelette is spicy shrimp and it’s excellent.
We spent the morning under a thatched umbrella on the beach and both enjoyed a nice swim in the sea. The pool looks nice but the seawater is clean and not too cold so we opted for au naturale. We had a snackette of humus and pita bread plus calamari for lunch and then a lovely swim in the pool.
I visited the nurse and he was really helpful. He has given me some pills to remove the flu symptoms (take one 3 times daily and boy do they work) and some cough mixture for a dry cough. Everyone in the resort is relieved.
The coffee tables are neat. They are glass topped with a selection of spices displayed underneath.
There was a buffet and barbecue last night. The food was excellent. We were entertained by a live band. Their rendition of Bob Marly covers was pretty good but the warm up ‘elevator’ music was pretty pedestrian. Stick to your knitting I say!
